Zac Trupp is a Maryland native and the grandson of Holocaust survivor Emanuel (Manny) Mandel. A graduate of 3GDC's WEDU speaking program, he has shared his grandfather’s story with hundreds of students and community members across the region.

Currently serving as Government Affairs Director for the Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS® (GCAAR), Zac is a proud alumni of University of Maryland.

Manny Mandel was born in Riga, Latvia, in 1936, the year in which his parents returned to their native Hungary where they lived during the war. He survived the Novi Sad pogrom in 1941 and was a member of the Kasztner Group held at the Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camp in 1944.
