Brian Liss is Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Corporate Resources for Leidos, a Fortune 500 innovation company rapidly addressing the world’s most vexing challenges in National Security and Health. Brian earned his law degree with honors from the George Washington University Law School, and his MBA from the University of Maryland, Robert H. Smith School of Business. Brian received a B.A. degree in political science magna cum laude from the University of Rochester. Brian serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School and as a member of the Washington Lawyers Committee of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. Brian and his wife and two children live in Bethesda, MD. Brian’s daughter attends the University of Rochester (’26) and his son attends the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School (’26). In his spare time, Brian enjoys travelling with his family, golf, reading, watching the NBA with his daughter, and watching his son play baseball.

Brian’s grandfather was Kalman Jacobson, from Kreva, Poland (now in Belarus) and was taken to Dachau (Kaufering). He was born in 1910. Brian’s grandmother was Dina (Rosenberg) Jacobson from Libuchora, Poland (now Ukraine), and was taken to Auschwitz. She was approximately 17 when the war started.
