Survivor Day Intergenerational Brunch

Along with Generations After (https://www.genafterdc.org/), JCRC, and the JCC, 3GDC hosted the second annual Survivor Day Intergenerational Brunch at the Edlavitch DCJCC on June 2, 2024. We had nearly 60 people–2Gs, 3Gs, and some 4Gs–attend, who all enjoyed a delicious bagel spread, to honor and celebrate our local survivor community.

We had 12 survivors join our brunch along with a beautiful mix of survivor’s children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and other community members.

Anat Bar-Cohen, Generations After board member and past president, led a recognition ceremony, where she distributed certificates honoring each survivor with a tree planted in Israel. We also had a chance to hear from our survivors.
